I’m Andrew, the photographer behind Jackson’s Wedding Photography — a Scotland based wedding photographer specialising in relaxed, documentary style photography for couples who want to feel present, not posed, on their wedding day.

Based in the west of Scotland and photographing weddings across Dumfries & Galloway, Ayrshire, Glasgow and beyond, I work with couples who value honesty, calm, and connection.

Your wedding is a once in a lifetime story. My role is to capture it quietly, creatively, and unobtrusively so that when you look back, you remember how it felt, not just how it looked. Whether you’re planning a castle wedding in the Highlands, a coastal celebration in Ayrshire, or a small elopement on the Isle of Skye, I’ll be there to document the full story with care and attention.

In addition to my signature documentary photography, we now offer complementary Behind-the-Scenes Content Creation from Jess, an experienced social media manager. This service is designed to protect your experience; Jess captures the raw, candid energy of your day through high-quality vertical video and “fly-on-the-wall” snippets so that you and your wedding party can stay fully present and connected. By letting us handle the digital storytelling, you can keep your phones away and focus on the people around you, knowing those spontaneous, unpolished moments are being captured and delivered quickly for you to enjoy later.

I focus on real moments, not staged ones. The quiet nerves before the ceremony. A parent adjusting a tie. Wind catching your veil on the coast. All the big moments and the little ones in between, captured in a way that’s grounded, heartfelt, and completely you.
